There are two main airports that are well connected to this region:
- Barcelona Prat Airport, which is in the Llobregat area, south-west of Barcelona
- Girona Airport. A smaller one that is located south of Girona
From each Airport you have trains that connect you to the towns in Maresme region, such as Premia de Mar, Canet de Mar or any other. The benefit of landing in Girona is that is a smaller airport where is easier to pick up someone that is coming to visit.

For those who dislike to fly
There is also the possibility come with the car but be aware that is a large drive. We come all the way from Berlin and we stopped a night in Lyon, France. It took us about 18 hours to drive the 1.800 km that separate the german capital from Arenys de Mar.
It was a nice ride and we could bring a lot more of stuff than you might in a normal flight.
For the first time visits is the best to travel light and book a flight since unless you fly in the middle of the Summer high season there are very reasonable prices to come to Spain.
