Our Story

We are Paulina and Martin, and our journey began in Berlin, where we met and discovered our shared enthusiasm for innovation, design, and adventure. Paulina, originally from Poland, is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in both Poland and Germany. Her passion for interior design has been a defining element of her career. Martin, an Argentine by birth, is a programmer by education and a visionary inventor at heart.

After many years of life and work in Berlin, we decided to embark on a new chapter and moved to Spain’s picturesque Maresme region, where Martin’s family had long settled. This move was the realization of our shared dream, drawn by the region’s sunny climate, vibrant Mediterranean cuisine, and the warm, welcoming spirit of the locals. It was also an opportunity for us to indulge in our love for outdoor activities such as windsurfing, sailing, and paddle boarding.

However, navigating the process of buying property as newcomers to Spain was far from straightforward. Upon our arrival from Germany and during our first property purchase, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the myriad of documents, translations, and complex paperwork involved.

This experience inspired us to create Marespa, a company dedicated to helping others simplify and streamline the property-buying process in Spain. With first-hand knowledge of the challenges and a deep understanding of the procedures, our mission is to guide our clients through each step—from initial planning to finalizing the purchase—making the process smoother and less stressful.
